IXORUS

IXORUS, originally uploaded by Trish Nonaka.
Weekly Challenge 6

Did this one on an ATC card using a Sharpie fine point pen and blue watercolor shadowing. (Which appears much brighter here than in real life).

I decided to just do the pattern itself as I've not played with it before today. Once I posted it I remembered I have a page for weekly challenges hanging on my bulletin board! Oops!

  1. This tangle looks beautiful all by it's self. I love the touch of color you gave it.

  6. The blue shading really adds an interesting element to your tangle. Nice work! I'm thinking of clouds and things for some reason!

  8. I love the texture you get from working on the ATC surface. Is that a cold press watercolour? It's really lovely!!

  10. Thanks, Trish! I've got some of that - I did an ATC tangled letter ZIA for a tangler in Honolulu on it. I remember quite liking working with the rougher texture.
