Weekly Challenge 6
Did this one on an ATC card using a Sharpie fine point pen and blue watercolor shadowing. (Which appears much brighter here than in real life).
I decided to just do the pattern itself as I've not played with it before today. Once I posted it I remembered I have a page for weekly challenges hanging on my bulletin board! Oops!
This tangle looks beautiful all by it's self. I love the touch of color you gave it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I enjoy the blue shadowing!
ReplyDeleteI too decided to tangle just the one tangle!
Whispering refreshing
ReplyDeleteit's great! i love the watercolour shading!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - the shading really enhances it!
ReplyDeleteLove the touch of colour in the shading!
ReplyDeleteThe blue shading really adds an interesting element to your tangle. Nice work! I'm thinking of clouds and things for some reason!
ReplyDeleteI love the large-scale rendition of the tangle in it's basic form... wonderful study!
ReplyDeleteI love the blue shading!
ReplyDeleteI love the texture you get from working on the ATC surface. Is that a cold press watercolour? It's really lovely!!
ReplyDeleteIt is done on Strathmore, coldpress 140# wc paper
ReplyDeleteThanks, Trish! I've got some of that - I did an ATC tangled letter ZIA for a tangler in Honolulu on it. I remember quite liking working with the rougher texture.
